Nighttime Skincare Routine
Hey guys! Thought I'd tell you about my nighttime skincare routine, because in the beginning of the week my skin was horrible, absolutely horrible. Ugly af. Breaking out left & right, very dark & visible acne scars, & just overall dull. Tuesday at Target I ended up buying a purifying face mask. Sometimes I'm hesitant about drug store brand face masks, because I either feel like they won't work as well or I'll get some terrible skin reaction. But I decided to go for it anyway.
Here is the face mask I purchased from Target.
For only $9.99, a bargain compared to other face masks from Sephora.
& guess what's even better? It actually works! I ended up using this mask Tuesday night. Of course the next day I wasn't going to see miraculous results, especially since purifying mask tend to make all the gunk deep in your skin raise to the surface.
Lightweight: Not an overly thick, messy product
Creamy: Oooh so creamy! No gritty, drying feeling. Even When it fully dries, your skin doesn't feel tight & like your a victim of Medusa.
Easy Application: Fuss free. Glides on so easy!
Abundance of Product: This small & cute packaging holds so much! & a little goes a long way! I've used it twice so far, & I still have so much left!
Results! Results! Results!: After 1 usage mixed with my nightly skincare routine, saw a noticeable difference in only 2 days!
I used it tonight, hope to see more results later in the week! Product suggests using 1-3 times a week. Which is nice to know, it's not overly harsh.
This is my step 1 before my facemasks.
I use both of these daily, 2 times a day.

Clarisonic Deep Pore Facial Cleansing Brush Head:https://www.sephora.com/product/deep-pore-facial-cleansing-brush-head-P432642?icid2=products%20grid:p432642:product
CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser(For Normal to Oily skin types):
These products definitely target my skin type. I have oily, acne prone, large pores skin. This Mia Clarisonic really changed my skin. It helps keep my deep pores at bay, & really does a good deep clean, but without being harsh on your skin. Definitely safe for everyday use! I chose the deep pore/Oily brush head, but there are way more options to choose from, i.e.- revitalizing brush head, Luxe Facial, Acne prone skin, Radiance, Sensitive, & even one for men!
I pair it with thee CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser for of course Normal to Oily skin. A necessary must for me. My ride or die face wash. ( shout out to my oily girls out there!) This product is for a sure a bang for your buck, only at $12.69. & it's HUGE do you see how big this bottle is! It'll last you a hot minute.
Step 1// Thayers Witch Hazel Rose Petal Toner: https://www.target.com/p/thayers-witch-hazel-alcohol-free-toner-rose-petal-12-fl-oz/-/A-51091143
I use this product twice a day;once as a part of prepping for my makeup, & before bed, as my first step in my after my face wash routine. I feel like this product really has evened out the texture of my skin, & is a great way to prep the skin before makeup to get rid of excess oil.
Step 2// Trader Joe's Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum: https://www.amazon.com/TRADER-HYALURONIC-MOISTURE-BOOST-SERUM/dp/B07J4LLVTF
One of my friend's introduced me to this product last year. He is a skincare junkie who has worked at L'occitane,Sephora as a skincare specialist, & now at a Nordstrom Counter. This product is great for all skin types; but as an oily gal, extra moisture is key. I know what you're thinking, why? If you have oily skin, and you're constantly stripping it of all its natural oils, your skin will then overproduce oils, making you look like an oily pepperoni pizza right out of the oven. So by adding extra moisture, your skin balances out, still producing oil but not an excessive amount.
Step 3// CeraVe Ultra-Lightweight Moisturizing Lotion (For Normal to Oily skin):https://www.target.com/p/cerave-ultra-light-moisturizing-face-lotion-with-sunscreen-spf-30-1-7-fl-oz/-/A-52723364
After using the serum, I use this bad boy. I use both the serum & moisturizer as preps before my makeup as well, as my nighttime skincare routine. Recently switched back to this moisturizer, because it was finally restocked at Target. This product is great because its lightweight, but ultra-moisturizing like the title says. No doubt about that. Plus as we enter the winter months this will be an essential for the odd dry spots that seem to surface in these colder months.
Step 4// Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream: https://www.sephora.com/product/banana-bright-eye-creme-P426339
& last but not least, my newest edition to my nighttime routine, and more recently prep before makeup. I felt like trying to see if this would help the prevention of dark circles under my eyes. But the problem is, your girls a late night owl, who's sleep schedule is never consistent, & is still trying to be an avid water drinker. So you see here, I see minor differences, but once I get on track & improve my habits, I hope to see a more definite change. But otherwise I can't lie, it's super moisturizing & will help with dry under eyes & prep to help creasing with makeup. & the color slightly color corrects the dark circles, by a smig.
Well there it is my nighttime skincare routine. I hope you all enjoyed my brief reviews & artsy photos I edited myself. Till next time.
